Angie Stone

BS, RDH, BLS, CDP

began her career in the United States Navy as a Dental Technician. Her assigned mission was to help keep her fellow sailors dentally ready for deployment. After her enlistment, she completed degrees in dental hygiene and psychology. Shortly thereafter she was assigned another mission. This one she didn’t sign up for. It picked her.

Through personal and professional experiences, she has spent the last 19 years focused on the dental health of elders. Through her company, best selling book, “Dying from Dirty Teeth”, and lectures across the country, she has made an impact on how elders are understood and cared for by the dental profession.

Her work with elders exposed her to many patients with Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). In addition, her family is experiencing their third generation of AD. Angie is now bringing education on the topic to dental professionals in hopes her journey will continue to help others.
